TabTrade Broker Review - The Good and the Catch

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade.com opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It suggests the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But better than a founder with no industry background.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that is a few months old, that range is not narrow.

What You Trade On

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.

FIX API is there for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That will make the platform set when it lands.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

Execution Speed

This is where this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? If you scalp, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It does inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal works depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Standard deposit match. You put money in, TabTrade top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit.
